Precaution to be taken after uttarbasti.

1. Rest for atleast 2 hours immediately followed by the procedure.
2. No weight bearing or heavy work 5 to 6 hours.
3. Urge of urine or motion neither be ignored nor forced.
4. Avoid sex, travelling at least for 3 days.

Position

Lithotomyposition (lie on back & knee joint should be flexed.)

Time of administration

After cessation of menstrual bleeding for 3 consecative days.

Complication

1. PV bleeding
2. Lower abdominal pain: They are considered as complication, only if they are troublesome to patient.
3. Infection: If hygine is not maintained.
